the program yogyakarta state universities goes to world class university is a step that needs to be supported. Because it is a step that could open up many opportunities to become a better university. many benefits to be gained from the program world class university. One of them is open-minded students to have an international outlook. I also strongly agree with the direction of former chancellor Prof. Sugeng Mardiyono, Ph. D (deceased), namely on "In its efforts UNY goes to WCU, we must not lose our identity. We must use the potential and depart from the culture or our culture". Thus we have an international outlook without abandoning our identity as citizens of Indonesia are rich in culture. Through the program UNY goes to World Class University, also opens the opportunity for students interested to study abroad because it has a picture of the school of international standard.


Through this program students initially can hone skills in English language according sentence as described in this paper. To obtain big something needs big sacrifice. Although UNY is enough to have a lot of potential but it is still very less when compared with the University already has an international standard. We are still far behind the neighboring university that has had considerable international class rank. But it's not a benchmark for us, considering we differ with the university next to us. We are more familiar with college education while the campus next to us is a common campus. Everything is there that is not possible, so make UNY have less than 500 world rankings merupaka also not impossible. Tujuan dari sistem pendidikan meliputi:
1. meningkatkan pengabdian penuh kepada Allah SWT,
2. mengembangkan kecerdasan dan keterampilan individu;
3. mendorong sikap positif kemandirian dan pengembangan
4. memastikan bahwa semua anak yang melek huruf

agar bisa mencapai tujuan dari sistem pendidikan diatas dibutuhkan suatu metode agar 4 tujuan yang tertulis diatas bisa tercapai. melihat kenyataan sistem pembelajaran yang ada di Indonesia ini, sistem pembelajaran tersebut belum mampu mencapai target tujuan kita. Gambaran umum saat praktek pengajaran di Indonesia adalah guru menjelaskan menyampaikan materi pembelajaran yang diikuti oleh siswa. Sehingga siswa hanya menjadi subyek penerima. Keaktifan siswa dengan metode pembelajaran seperti ini kurang berperan. Siswa terbiasa menerima dan tidak terbiasa menemukan.

Dimasa selanjutnya, ini adalah tantangan bagi para pengajar untuk bisa meningkatkan belajar siswa, guru harus mengorganisasikan pengajaran untuk melibatkan anak sehingga mereka secara aktif membangun pengetahuan mereka sendiri. Namun hal tersebut memiliki kendala, diantaranya adalah,
1. kompleksitas lingkungan pendidikan,
2. keterbatasan anggaran,
3. kurangnya sumber daya dan fasilitas pendidikan,
4. divergensi dari konteks pendidikan
seperti etnis, budaya geografi, dan nilai
5. kurangnya pemahaman guru tentang teori-teori
baik praktek mengajar dan bagaimana untuk menerapkannya,

Untuk mejwab tantangan dunia yang memasuki era globalisasi, diperlukan strategi untuk menjawab masalah ini. salah satunya adalah Meningkatkan Matematika dan Ilmu Pendidikan melalui Kerjasama Internasional seperti yang dilakukan oleh Kerjasama JICA Teknis Proyek Pengembangan Ilmu dan Pendidikan Matematika Pengajaran di Indonesia. Desain Proyek Matrix adalah untuk melakukan uji coba untuk meningkatkan pendidikan matematika dan ilmu pengetahuan di sekolah, bertukar pengalaman tentang kurikulum dan implementasinya dengan sekolah-sekolah dan lembaga-lembaga pelatihan guru. Para dosen dan guru bekerja bersama-sama di sekolah-sekolah untuk mengembangkan model pengajaran yang dibutuhkan di lapangan. Strategi dasar untuk uji coba adalah mempromosikan paradigma baru tentang pendiidkan matematika dan ilmu pengetahuan. Tujuan dari uji coba tersebut adalah untuk memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan pendidikan matematika dan ilmu pengetahuan di sekolah dengan mencoba beberapa hal yang dikembangkan dalam proyek ini yang langsung berhubungan dengan sekolah.

Berbagai upaya terus dilakukan untuk memperbaiki sistem pembelajaran di Indonesia. Dengan usaha keras pasti akan terwujud.

The scope of mathematics education research can come from a lack of motivation by researchers to carry out reform of mathematics education. Contemporary mathematics education research is essentially a research mathematics education in which sipeneliti have awareness of the need to understand nature of mathematics. If researchers want to study intensively studied on the background to the process of learning mathematics, the variation of interaction that may develop, as well as supporting factors that can be developed, so researchers can use the case study research and field research.The case study is an in-depth research on teaching and learning process mathematics in a particular school where the research results is a complete and well organized on the mathematics teaching and learning process. Pada masa sekarang masyarakat Indonesia sedang mengalami perubahan yang sangat dinamis dari berbagai aspek kehidupan yang menawarkan tantangan dan harapan. Ini merupakan tantangan kepada guru di masa sekarang terutama guru matematika untuk mengubah gaya belajar yang lama menjadi sesuatu yang baru yang lebih menarik. Para guru dituntut untuk menevaluasi kekuatan dan dan kelemahan, serta harus siap untuk belajar keterampilan baru dalam pembelajaran matematika demi kepentingan pengajaran yang efektif. Melalui kurikulum baru, guru dituntut mampu menanggapi masing-masing anak sebagai kebutuhan yang diidentifikasi karena pengalaman kurikuler yang relevan dan keterampilan anak-anak sangat bervariasi. Pengelolaan berbagai layanan dukungan harus tersedia untuk memaksimalkan efektifitas dalam membantu guru bekerja menuju praktek yang baik dan untuk menerapkan kurikulum yang baru. Faktor-faktor dari siswa, guru dan masyarakat yang belum optimal didukung melalui kurikulum baru merupakan hasil pemantauan pelaksanaan kurikulum berbasis sekolah menunjukkan bahwa ada. Kurikulum baru ini mengajarkan kepada kita bahwa kurikulum selalu butuh perbaikan. Hal ini juga menyarankan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan matematika, pemerintah pusat perlu:
(1) mendefinisikan peran guru yaitu mereka harus memfasilitasi siswa dalam belajar
(2) mendefinisikan peran kepala sekolah yaitu mereka harus mendukung pengembangan profesional guru dengan memungkinkan mereka untuk menghadiri dan berpartisipasi dalam diskusi ilmiah, pertemuan-pertemuan maupun pelatihan
(3) mendefinisikan kembali peran sekolah yaitu mereka harus mempromosikan manajemen berbasis sekolah
(4) mendefinisikan peran pengawas yaitu mereka perlu memiliki latar belakang yang sama dengan para guru yang mereka awasi agar mampu melakukan supervisi akademik
(5) mempromosikan kolaborasi yang lebih baik antara sekolah dan universitas
(7) mendefinisikan sistem evaluasi nasional.

Goverment help the victim of Earthquake in Yogyakarta by a lot of way. One of them is give the victims money to build up again their home. If a home can finished about sixty days with twelve bricklayers. Because something reason, a home have to finish for fourty days. How many bricklayers have to seek to make a home?


how to solve this problem??




to solve this problem, we need mathematics. We knoe that a home can be finish about sixty days with twelve bricklayers. But, we must finish a home for fourty days. To solve this problem, we use the way:

so


60 . 12 = 40 . x

x= 60.12/40
by cancel out sixty and fourty, we find that x equals to one point five times twelve


So, x=1,5 . 12
x= 18


that is the last of equality (x=18). So, a home have to finish for 40 days with 18 bricklayers. We have twelve bricklayers. So, we must find six bricklayers again to help twelve bricklayers the other. That us all, so simple and interesting. It is because mathematics.
